the big brother to be

Well, it's official. Alejandro should be a big brother around August 30th. He even got to witness the first ultrasound. (I had been having pains so they wanted a peek to make sure everything was fine --and it is fine.) Alejandro wasn't impressed by his first glimpse at his new sibling and just wanted to try out the buttons on the ultrasound equipment.

Anyhow, Alejandro is still finding new ways to get in trouble. We have to keep the dishwasher locked all the time now. If he's getting into something he shouldn't and I stand up, he'll throw the offending article and take off running. He's a stinker but we have lots of fun together.

I'm taking two classes this semester -- both of which are a lot of work unfortunately. I should finish up my degree this summer before Trouble #2 arrives. Alfonso is busy with work as usual. He's heading out to California next week. But Cathy is coming Saturday to keep me and Alejandro company while he's gone. So we are looking forward to her visit.

Well, hope all is well.
Love,
Debi
